I first visited DriveWay Austin back in the summer of 2008 when race car driver in training invited me to check him out on the track. Since then I have been back numerous times and I am now know as “the guy with the camera”, as I take a lot of photos and videos while out there. They are still working on finishing out the whole track, so expect some construction, however, they seem to work around it very well.
As you will see on their website they are not only a track, but an academy style school offering racing courses for the novice to the expert. I encourage you to go and check out the track, they are very welcoming and are sure to show you a good time. Here are some pics and video of the space:
